Mr. Bloom joined the Company’s Scientific Advisory Board in January 2008 and
currently serves as Vice President, Business Development for Ziopharm Oncology,
Inc. Mr. Bloom has over 20 years of business development and marketing
experience, including licensing, pricing and reimbursement, brand management
(for products such as Prozac®), and competitive analysis, primarily with
Eli Lilly and Company. Prior to Ziopharm, he served as Global Vice President of
Business Development and Marketing at Parexel International, a contract research
and medical communications company.Mr. Bloom earned a Bachelor of Science degree in pharmacy from Northeastern University.
