Pursuant
to the Company’s agreements with Catalent, Catalent has the right to appoint a
representative to attend meetings of the Cary Pharmaceuticals Board of Directors
in a nonvoting, observer capacity. Catalent has designated Thomas J. Stuart as
its representative. Mr. Stuart joined Catalent, formerly Cardinal Health PTS, as
a result of Cardinal’s acquisition of R.P. Scherer Corporation in 1998. From
1990 through 1998, he served in various executive positions for R.P. Scherer,
most recently as its Executive Vice President. Mr. Stuart earned a Bachelor of
Arts degree in Accounting and Finance, with honors, from Michigan State
University. He is a Certified Public Accountant and a member of the Financial
Executives Institute.close window
